We are always looking to club members to help out with offering to take a turn planning an outing. New members can look to our old hands for guidance and help in this task. Urban walks can be planned in the evenings in mid-week, more extensive day hikes can be done on weekends, and some club members have expressed interest in outings during the week when the trails (and highways) are less busy. So if you have an idea of an activity you would like to go on or lead, and haven’t posted an activity before, please contact the Executive Trip Coordinator (see contact paragraph above) to get some guidance on how to do so.

And, as a reminder to all old-hand hike leaders and new ones alike, please review the EVENT COORDINATORS’ GUIDELINES posted on the CORE website. These are a collection of “tribal knowledge” representing years of experience of people seasoned in mountain recreation.
