To give you an idea of what exactly the Executive does, here are some highlights of projects we worked on in the past year.<\/p>\n All positions on the Executive are open for nomination by the membership at the AGM, and are listed below. This year we are fortunate to have more than half the past executive express interest in staying on for another year in various roles to provide continuity and complete projects they were working on. There are however several positions that are up for grabs. These are<\/span> highlighted (*)<\/span><\/strong> and described below.<\/span><\/p>\n (1) Note that this role comes with some FREE technical training, on-line and phone support for a whole year on how to publish Blogs on WordPress (provided by past webmaster and Comms Coordinator). So if you have ever wanted to become a Blogger, and even set up your own personal WordPress Blog acccount, this is a great opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n (2) This role requires both organizational and computer skills. The executive meets once a month to discuss club business and decide on actions to be taken to ensure the smooth, safe<\/strong> running of club activities. Depending on your role, there may be additional work and organizing to be done outside of meetings. But it is all fun, and very fulfilling.
