Trail conditions were good, dry even after all the rain. Trail head parking lot was full so parked at highway 1A entrance area even though the lot was wet from. On weekend you need to be there by 8:30 am. Several members went up Chimney for additional .6 km and 100 m elevation. Had lunch on Yamnuska east side just below Chimney to get out of the wind, for half an hour.
