Trail conditions were okay but a little rough with some mud, snow and ice. It was a good meeting spot at the Messa Butte rec area/campground. Great early spring hike. Spikes were needed. Started a campfire at the top and roasted marshmallows for smores. General feedback from members that this is a great annual early spring hike, with fire and smores.
