Actual foot time was 5 to 6 hours. Trail conditions good. Trail is not marked at the Chester Lake trail head nor along the route, but the trail is in good condition with some fallen trees to navigate under/over. Elevation gain is fairly gradual except for a very short stretch (maybe 1 km or so), that is steep with large rocks thus needing to slow down ascending and upon descending. This is about 2kms from the lower lake. Majority of the group rested at first lake, 2 members hiked to the 2nd lake which took about 30 minutes there and back.
