To Hike Nihahi Ridge from the south end. Trail conditions okay. Snow and mud. 10 members and 2 guests. Followed trail to main shoulder, which is the end of the better, somewhat maintained trail. Group attempted first south knob, but snow and increasing mud made conditions more challenging and the decision was made not to proceed further. An upper viewpoint just below the south knob was chosen as the final destination before returning safely.
