Trail has had a major upgrade in summer 2023 which included widening to one meter, moderating grade, adding some rock steps in some sections and provided rock seated resting areas at several viewpoints. The summit offers panoramic mountain and prairie views, however can be quite windy. Some shelter from wind possible in a stand of trees at summit.
