Very Sunny, making if feel warmer than the minus 13 degrees Celsius when we started the snowshoe. Snow hard packed in morning, becoming softer by afternoon, as temperature rose to minus 4 degrees Celsius.
Wore micro spikes, at start of hike as not much snow pack and snow was hard packed. Should have wore snowshoes, due to more snow depth and snow became more powdery as we climbed along the trail.
