Steep hike with rocks and roots across trail. One difficult section where you have to travers across the mountain on a sketchy, thin trail. Not well signed. You come to a junction above the lake. One trail goes to the left and to one end of Allstones Lake. The other trail goes right and to the opposite end of the lake. Recommend going left.
