Car park was packed even though we arrived at 10am. A very steep stony trail up to the lake, then lost crowds. Keep right at the lake near the campground but go left at small intersection to stay near the lake which then leads steep uphill into the forest. Eventually you come out onto a rocky trail above the creek on the left. You can see the glacier at this point. Go steep uphill following the glacier. Stunning mountains all around. Steep downhill, some people slow, following creek with small beautiful waterfalls on the way. Back a the lake we wanted to take a right turn to go around the other side of the lake but some people had gone on ahead, so we could not do that. A fabulous day with perfect weather though more clouds later on.
