It was raining off and on all the way on the drive down to Hailstone. The group got itself divided on different sides of the mountain on the way up and it started to rain, then hail, then thunder in the distance. Our group went too far to the left and it made the scramble much more difficult but everyone got to the top OK. There may have been an impending thunder storm and it was freezing cold, so we got off the top quickly and walked further down the hill to have our lunch. Everyone got across the traverse without trouble and made it back down to the car. We then went to the Black Diamond Hotel for drinks.
