Ptarmigan Cirque - 5km, 300m, 2hrs. Dry with good conditions.
Aruthesa Cirque - 2.5km, 275 m, 2hrs. Dry initially but got wetter as we went higher. We were unable to complete the hike due to fast flowing Arethsa crek which we couldn't cross plus muddy trail beyond the small waterfall feeding the creek. Beautiful glacier lilies on both hikes. Best to do Arethusa as a fall larch hike when conditions would be dry. |
