Up and down (quite steep) several hills, then a VERY steep downhill to the river for lunch. Everyone was very slow going down, not recommended for people having fear of downhill. Going back up was much easier. Lots of cow patties on the trail, some mud and wet areas, but mostly good. Lots of wildflowers on the hills.
