For a change we followed the lakeshore trail past Rawson Lake junction for 5 km (No trail had been created on the lake itself). Most of the group were ready to turn back without making it to our destination. Views from the lakeshore trail are quite pleasing - despite trees. Lots of up & down, limited access to the lakeshore. No trailbreaking required since the trail seems quite popular.
