Needs to be done earlier in the season but good snow support from previous snowshoers. Some braiding of route above junction of the 2 upper branches of Buller Creek because trail is snow-covered. Need to stay high if avalanche danger in cirque near pass. Showshoeing usually finishes a couple of km before the pass.
