This hike was also our designated memorial hike for 2013. NOTE: We took "semi-official" detour way above river, as floods washed out original first section (a.k.a. Elbow Trail). Visible from flats way above river was the old pedestrian bridge below; some had thought the trail still started from there, but there didn't seem to be a way to get up from/down to that bridge. The "real" Fullerton Loop, with the map sign close to where the detour re-joins the real trail, onwards, is still intact, but only from that map-sign onwards.
