3 Pass Hike-Kcountry.
A 3 pass hike in one not so hard day, one of my fave hikes in Kcountry.Start at trailhead just north of Engadine Lodge. 1st pass is Smuts-5Km, 408m. 2nd stint is an easy 2.5km bowl traverse to Birdwood Pass. 3rd stint is 1.7Km wide saddle to Burstall Pass. Then descend from Burstall Pass as normal and exit out on Burstall trail. Total distance trail head to trail head is approx. 19Km. Mod/Diff. hike and a long day. Car shuttle required.
