One tricky section of climbing - should not do early in season because of high creek. Definitely worth repeating.
Hike: 3 Sisters Pass (M-D, partly exploratory)
We follow a (probably dry) creek issuing from a a gradually narrowing gorge, across rocky slopes to a view of the 3 Sisters & the Bow Valley near Canmore. Hiking poles will be very useful in handling the rocky terrain. Cold beer & burgers at the Drake in Canmore after? Mtg. place is Edworthy Park, N. side of river, E. end of parking lot. |
