Friends of Kananaskis Trailcare: Volunteers Needed [Please note: This isn't an official CORE event, but is posted on behalf of the Friends of Kananaskis] Friends of Kananaskis Country now has three volunteer projects confirmed for Saturday, July 11th. If you are interested, please E-mail Kananaskis.Volunteer[at]gov.ab.ca indicating which project you would like to be signed up for. Canmore/Bow � Jeff Eamon Highline Trail � Elk to Grizzly Meeting Place: Quarry Lake parking lot Time: 9:00 am Number of volunteers required: 30 Elbow � Sam Fullerton and Joe Dick Nihahi Ridge � Elk to Grizzly (some drainage work as well as blocking off new trails) Meeting Place: Little Elbow Day Use parking lot (will drive in a little further together) Time: 9:00 a.m. until 2 or 3 p.m. Number of volunteers required: 6-8 Note: will be hiking in about 2kms and then working back towards vehicles Peter Lougheed � Andre Belliveau Upper Kananaskis Lakes trail � Elk (trail tread repairs) Meeting Place: Upper Lake day use trailhead Time: 9:00 Number of volunteers required: 10 Remember to wear good boots and bring gloves, insect repellent, lunches, water, etc. As always, your support of the Volunteer Trail Care program is much appreciated!
