Hike: Old Baldy Ridge (M-D) The trail starts at Evan-Thomas Creek and follows a side creek with one or two minor tricky sections along up the riverbanks (Hiking poles could be helpful). The valley then opens up into meadows with many small creeks with small waterfalls and many flowers. In the end you reach a magnificent grassy summit with panoramic views up and down the Kananaskis River and beyond. Distance 7.8 km to summit with an elevation gain of 860m. Kananaskis Golf Clubhouse for supper after? Mtg. place is Edworthy Park, N. side of river, E. end of parking lot.
