Beaverdam Ridge - Whaleback Area (Easy to Moderate) Distance about 10-11 km return, elevation about 350 m. Fantastic views to the rockies and The Gap, the hike up to the top of Beaverdam Ridge is off trail so be prepared for some "exploring". You may wear black attire if you like. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed at all times, proper footwear,hiking poles recommended, absolutely no jeans. If you have snowshoes bring them but most likely not needed.
