Group ALSO had 2 guests and 3 ski club members. An excellent easy hike that is close to Calgary. Views are very good relative to easy elevation gain. Appropriate for shoulder seasons. Clear, 12C

HIKE: FORD KNOLL LOOP (E): This short (2.5 km) loop trail, W of Bragg Creek, climbs 235 m to a few great viewpoints. <bR>The approach to the beginning of the loop is short as well, but ups the total return distance to 5 km. <bR>Going in a counter-clockwise direction on the loop, you reach an excellent view of Nihahi Ridge. Farther along you look down the length of Elbow Valley to appreciate the sight of the valley & surrounding mountains. <bR>Optional refreshment post-hike could be drinks on the deck at the Bavarian Inn. Their plum strudel is excellent!
