Clear, 15C, but very windy at summit. Trail okay but two short rough steep stretches. Great views north and south but maybe a week too early for maximum fall colour.
BARRIER LAKE LOOKOUT HIKE (M-D): This is a 13km (round trip) up 600m to the fire lookout site overlooking Barrier Lake to the south and the Bow Valley to the North. Fall colours of leafy trees should be excellent, though this is not a larch area.
