Also 4 ski club members along. Some cloud for part of the route. Then sunshine. strong wind on the top. Half of group opted to return partway. Since we didn't have radios, other half visited only the high point without completing the horshehoe. Would need strong hikers to complete the whole horseshoe.

HIKE: PASQUE MTN. HORSESHOE (M): A connoisseur�s ridge walk S of Highwood Jct. The route starts off easy for a few km, and then climbs steeply to ascend to the ridge top. We walk along the ridge entertaining ourselves with views of forested hills & further bare ridge tops. It�s 8.5 km & 729 m to the Pasque Mtn. summit marker. If a car shuffle is possible we can continue on to complete the �horseshoe.� Total distance about 18 km. Supper option is the Longview Steakhouse. Mtg. place is Heritage Park parking just off 14 St. SW
