Rocky terrain throughout most of hike, but route clear. Strenuous but scenic. Many open views. Clear 25C.

WASOOTCH RIDGE TRAIL HIKE, MODERATE-DIFFICULT. KANANASKIS COUNTRY: We will not be hiking along the full ridge. The hike will end at a grassy spot on the ridge where the scramble begins. Roughly 12 km return, 700 m elev. gain. Trail starts out steep and a little rocky. The coordinator has only done a portion of the hike, so this will be a bit of an exploratory hike.
