Comments

Number includes one guest but excludes 5 others from ski club. Two others also took the trail but had arrived separately and did the loop in the other direction. Passed them on trail. One participant had problem very early and had to return, accompanied by another volunteering to go back. Trail was quite busy, also.

HIKE: ICELINE TRAIL (M): The Iceline Trail skirts Emerald Glacier and provides excellent <bR>views of the Daly Glacier, Takakkaw Falls and the whole Yoho Valley and is one of the classic hikes (rated a premier hike in Don't Waste Your Time in the Rockies). Options are to start at the Hostel and climb steeply and then enjoy a gentle downhill to Stanley Mitchell Hut and the Little Yoho trail or reverse. Return distance 22km, elevation gain 700 m.
