Comments

Four went about 1 km and 150 m up past the official trail end. Good time for this hike (or a bit earlier) for the waterfalls with the high sun going into the deep valley. Clear 22C.

STANLEY GLACIER BASIN HIKE (M): An easy moderate hike (9km round trip, 365m gain) that initially climbs through the 2003 burn area just over the BC border from Castle Jct. to reach an alpine basin beneath a hanging glacier. We could also take a five minute drive further to check out the reopened Marble Canyon Trail (1.5 km round trip)
