Comments

Had to take a tangent trail for the first half km in the canyon itselef. Fortunately, got back onto proper "trail". For future ref--stay in the canyon as the canyon is actually the trail itself. Call it a horizontal scramble. Clear 22C.

GROTTO CANYON HIKE (MODERATE): Grotto Canyon: 12.6 km, 670 m elevation gain. Rating: Moderate, although may be easier if hikers elect not to hike the whole distance. Watch out for historic Native Canadian painting in the canyon itself.
