Great tim to do this urban hike. Mosquitoes have not come out yet. Close to Elbow River so springtime flooding can be an isue. Clear 20C.
URBAN HIKE, GRIFFITH WOODS/ELBOW VALLEY CONSTRUCTED WETLANDS IN SW CALGARY: Meet at parking lot in Griffith Woods at 6:30 pm. To get there, drive west on Glenmore Trail (Hwy 8), then turn left at Discovery Ridge Blvd, then left at Discovery Ridge Link into parking area. Roughly 7 km, 1.5 hours. No dogs allowed in Elbow Valley Constructed Wetlands area. Most of hike will be fairly flat. At least one hill.
