Originally planned to do K. Lake shoreline. Since weather conditions could make driving slow, chose closer East route. Extension of loop into Canyon gave more photo ops.
SNOWSHOE UPPER KANANASKIS LAKE (E): We follow the shoreline of the lake for uninterrupted views across the lake for more than 5 km. Those who wish can explore a canyon near the mouth of the Kananaskis River before we return along the lake. Mtg. place is Edworthy Park, N side of the Bow River, E end of the parking lot.
