Another great showshoe experience. Excellent scenery, good though often wet, heavy snow and some fun off-trail. Find supper in Canmore.
SNOWSHOE FRENCH CREEK (M): Starting from the Burstall parking lot, we'll snowshoe up the French Creek trail to get to a waterfall, one of three on this path. Distance is flexible depending on the group, but it could be about 10 kms. The trail, expected to be packed down, climbs at first and then drops down again to the creek. We'll snowshoe for 3-4 hours before heading into Canmore for (optional) supper at recommended restaurant. Mtg. place is Edworthy Park, N. side of river, E. end of parking lot.
