Gorgeous sunny day with fresh snow. Trekked around shore of lake (except avlanche zone) and a little way along the outlet of lake on way out.
SNOWSHOE TO RAWSON LAKE (M): We start from the Upper Lake parking lot on Upper <bR>Kananaskis Lake to climb 305 m through spruce forest to the lake situated under Mt. Sarrail, lunch with a view. Total distance is 11.5 km (4-5 hours of snowshoeing). Mtg. place is Edworthy Park, N. side of river, E. end of parking lot.
