Oh, oh. Big excitement! On our way back Saiful broke his ankle boulder hopping. He went over on his foot (poles might have saved him). Had to get a helicopter rescue as route too rocky to help out, and nobody even had a tensor bandage. Heli came within an hour.
This trail leads up a creek bed into a narrow canyon enclosed by grey limestone walls. We'll pass a waterfall and see hoodoos - approx. 3 kms to the hoodoos with option to continue further down the creek bed/canyon. Call Carol at 249-8028 to register.
