No one was enthusiastic in singing the hike's praises but no brick bats either. So I suppose a good time was had by all.
This rugged hike in the Highwood area offers awesome views of the front ranges and foothills. Elevation gain of 845 m occurs over 8 km. A derelict lookout sits at the summit which offers an exceptional 360 degree panorama. Return distance is 16 km (5-6 hours of hiking)
