Group ALSO had one guest. Trail often muddy but weather and scenery made outing enjoyalbe. Return to trailhead unsigned along Sheep Tr. Must go North at N/S fense to return to vehicles. Excellent breakfast at Turner Valley Chuckwagon Rest. Trail si a loop of 3 tracks: Foran Grade Ridge, Windy Point Trail, and Sheep Trail. Only parts of latter two are used.
We'll have breakfast in Turner Valley before heading W to hike in fall colours on a ridge top (Foran Grade Ridge) & along a bluff overlooking the Sheep River. Total distance is under 7 km & total elevation (a gradual hike up the ridge) is 225 m.
