Snowshoe Chester Lake/Three Lakes Valley: Starting from the Chester Lake parking lot, we climb 310 m in 4 km to popular Chester Lake. The approach to the lake isn't all climb: just before the lake there are 3 open meadows to cross. We can extend our trip from the lake another 2.2 km (& 240 m of elevation) to visit Three Lakes Valley. Total distance then would be 12.4 km & 550 m of elevation. Rated moderate to difficult.
